Ahead of the official launch in mid-November the latest-generation Maruti Dzire has been unveiled in detail as it travels to the showroom yard. Recently surfaced spy photos showcase the brand-new look for the compact sedan’s exterior and inside. It also shows huge improvements over the old version as well as its sibling Swift hatchback upon which it was based.

Its 2024 Maruti Dzire comes with a new front design that differs from the brand-new Swift. The front of the Dzire has a striking broad grille that is with rectangular LED headlamps to give it the most refined and striking design. A new, gloss-black trim joins the headlamps with an additional chrome strip beneath. The fog lamp housing has been revamped as well as a strong front bumper adds to the stunning frontal design.
The rear front of the Dzire has Y-shaped LEDs in the taillamps, as well as a chrome strip that runs at the bottom, along with the boot. The lid on the back has an elongated, spoiler-like hump. The contour parts on the bumper’s rear make the appearance more attractive since diamond-cut alloys are only available on top-end trims, and consequently add more affluence to the cars.
Interior Feature and Layout
Inside, the new Dzire closely resembles the layout of the Swift but has some distinct characteristics. One of its most striking features is the freestanding 9-inch touchscreen that dominates the dashboard. The car will sport new steering wheels and an updated dual-tone look. Standard features come supported by a 4.2-inch electronic instrument cluster, which gives an easy view of important information right in the driver’s view by using an electronic multi-information display.
Powertrain Option
In the middle, the 2024 Dzire will be equipped with the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z Series petrol unit seen in the Swift and will be able to produce 82 horsepower with 112 Nm torque. The car will be equipped with the standard 5-speed manual transmission and an automated unit for petrol models. Maruti will also introduce the gasoline-CNG version which will be targeted at eco-friendly, energy-efficient customers.
Launch and Competition
Maruti Suzuki will start taking orders for the brand-new Dzire within the next few weeks and will begin delivery of cars around the middle of November. The Dzire is scheduled to launch on the 11th of November 2024. In 2024, when the Maruti Dzire enters the market it will be competing directly with other vehicles in the compact line-up which include it will compete with the Hyundai Aura Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor with new designs and new features and decent performance.
